Pima Community College Recognition Ceremony

This month’s people that “echo” Tito Maldonado recognizes him as an individual that regardless of age never gave up on the dream of fulfilling his educational goals. On Friday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. the Santa Cruz County Provisional College held a recognition ceremony for Tito Maldonado the first Pima Community College Graduate, Class of 2018. Mr. Maldonado a PCC student was awarded an Associates Degree.   

Guests who attended the ceremony included: Dr. Angela Meixell (Vice-Chair Governing Board) Liz Collier (Governing Board Member) Alan Aguirre-UA South Santa Cruz, Patricia Houston-Southern AZ Visitors Association, Brian Nelson- Advanced Program Manager PCC, Maria Luz Kortright-Verdugo- Math Tutor, and Santa Cruz Center staff: Dr. Stella Perez – Executive Director / CEO, Christie Monreal– Social Media Coordinator, Aleisdy Palazuelos – Governing Board and CEO Administrative Assistant, Leticia Cuevas – Registrar/ Receptionist, Alex Alvarez – Security/Maintenance Operator.
