First Things First Celebrates the Young Children

First Things First of Santa Cruz County hosted its third annual “Celebrates the Young Child” event this Saturday February 8, 2014. It was held at the Americana Hotel from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The event was open to children birth to 5 years old and their families and include: Practical parenting tips; importance of play for young children; healthy food free of charge; and many more activities.

Participants of the event include Mariposa Community Health Center; Nogales Family Resources Center; Rio Rico Family Resource Center; Patagonia Family Resource Center; Child & Family Resources, Inc.; Sunshine Christian Preschool; Smart Kids Preschool; Santa Cruz County Superintendent of Schools, Alfredo I. Velasquez; Rain Forest Preschool; Wic and Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No.35.
