The Santa Cruz County Superintendents Office worked behind the scenes to ensure all students across Santa Cruz County have the supplies they need to be successful. School supplies, and backpacks were taken to several schools across Santa Cruz County who do not participate in the Jump Back 2 School or the Rio Rico School Blitz. Little Red, Patagonia, and Elgin schools within the county are areas where the school superintendent wants to ensure students have the supplies they need for a successful school year. More than 300 backpacks were distributed to these schools, the backpacks were stuffed with notebooks, crayons, markers, glue sticks and pencil box.The staff from the office of the superintendent works diligently to gather school supplies and backpacks to distribute across county. “I have a great team of dedicated professionals who want to always work hard to ensure our students are successful in their journey. We want to make sure all students in Santa Cruz County have the tools they need to succeed,” said Alfredo I. Velásquez.
